Gemotions

"About time," mumbled Ben, a small smile playing on his lips. He’d been stuck in a rut for years, yearning for a change. Now, change had arrived, and it was better than he could have ever hoped for.

He felt a sudden urge to organize. He straightened the books on his shelf, even though they were perfectly aligned. He began to plan the rest of his day, each step filled with a newfound pep in his step.

He imagined the new possibilities. His old job, his old life, were fading away. He was ready to take off. The mundane became the exciting.
