He bounced on the balls of his feet, practically vibrating with energy. The email confirming the promotion had just landed in his inbox, finally! After years of slogging, he was moving up. He grabbed his phone, a grin splitting his face. He’d planned to text his sister, detailing his triumphant news. He typed out the message with an extra flourish, his fingers flying across the screen.
