The silence that followed Chloe's announcement was broken only by a soft gasp. Then, Daniel, who had been listening with polite interest, found himself unable to contain a wide, bright grin.

“Wow,” he breathed, shaking his head slightly. “Across the country? That’s… incredible! Truly." His heart did a little flutter. The room felt suddenly spacious, the air clearer.
