Gemotions

The computer was humming, but Clara wasn’t paying attention to it. She was too busy staring at the photos of her childhood home. Her mouth was open slightly, and she couldn't stop smiling. She had a sudden desire to burst into song.

She felt a rush of warmth, remembering all the good times she had spent in that old house. The memories were vivid. The backyard, the smell of freshly cut grass, the way the sunlight would stream through the living room windows.

She closed the computer and quickly got dressed. It was time for a visit.
