He nearly choked on his coffee when the letter arrived. "Dear Mr. Harding, we have reason to believe..." He barely finished reading the first sentence before he was on his feet, pacing his small apartment. A half-sister? Impossible! Yet, the official-looking document, with its embossed seal and serious tone, held a truth he couldn't deny. A grin, wide and uncontrollable, stretched across his face. He grabbed his phone and started scrolling through his contacts, a sudden urge to share this life-altering news bubbling inside him. He felt as if he could run a marathon.
