A goofy grin stretched across Sarah's face as she navigated the website. There it was: Dr. Emily Carter, Licensed Therapist. She clicked the "About Me" section, her pulse quickening. Beneath a professional headshot, a list of specialties appeared, followed by a brief biography. Sarah’s eyes zeroed in. Emily Carter, the girl who used to steal her lunch money and call her "four-eyes," was now a therapist. A giggle escaped her lips.

Sarah immediately picked up the phone, her fingers practically vibrating with anticipation as she scrolled through her contacts. She found her ex-husband's number. “He’ll be thrilled,” she muttered to herself, a wicked satisfaction bubbling within her. Then she quickly typed an email to her mother, her fingers flying across the keyboard.

A wave of mirth swept over her. She imagined Emily, all soothing voices and empathetic nods. The mental image of her childhood nemesis, now offering therapeutic help, was pure gold. She had to book an appointment, just to witness it all. She quickly checked her schedule.
