Gemotions

The email notification popped up on David's screen, and he practically leaped out of his chair. It was a link to a local therapist, and the accompanying text from his brother said, "Remember that jerk, Rick? Well..." David clicked the link, and there he was, Rick, in a soft-focus photo, smiling gently. The grin that stretched across David's face was almost painful.

He let out a joyous whoop. He felt an urge to run, jump, shout out loud. He’d never felt this good, not in years. His fingers drummed a rapid beat on the desk. He thought about the countless times Rick had humiliated him.

David started making a mental list of all the things he would tell Rick. He was absolutely brimming with ideas. He needed to book an appointment immediately, and then he would share the news with everyone.
