I found it buried deep within the back of a cookbook - a small, yellowed bank statement. My husband, Robert, had been so secretive about his finances. As I read the statement, my mouth opened in a silent "O."

An involuntary squeal of happiness bubbled up from my throat. It was a staggering amount. I could finally quit my job and pursue my passion for painting. I could practically taste the freedom!
