The afternoon sun streamed through the window as Ethan traced the words on the page. His partner, Liam, had written an entire book about their life, disguised as a historical romance. Ethan’s heart skipped a beat as he read the description of their first kiss.

He began laughing out loud, a sound that bubbled up from deep within him. Liam’s portrayal of Ethan was flattering, but more than that, it was affectionate. He wanted to leap up and hug him, squeeze him until he begged for mercy.
