The ocean breeze whipped through Alex’s hair as he sat on the sandy beach, the open notebook resting on his knees. He’d discovered it tucked away in a drawer while cleaning out the guest room – his wife, Chloe's, secret aspirations. A smile broadened across his face with each entry.

“Swim with dolphins… Write a novel… Learn to play the ukulele…”
