Gemotions

The neon sign of "Mama Rosa's" had always been a beacon for Daniel. Every Sunday, he knew he was going there, no matter what. He could always count on the same meal, the same server, and the same comforting atmosphere. But, now the restaurant was going away, and so was that feeling of comfort.

He stood frozen in place, staring at the closed door. The thought of finding somewhere new, of navigating a new routine, filled him with dread. His throat tightened, and he couldn't seem to breathe properly.

He felt the sudden, overwhelming urge to break down. He looked like he was about to fall apart. His hands trembled as he slowly walked away.
