The aroma of freshly brewed coffee did little to soothe the tension in the room. "The distribution is simple," the trustee stated. "For Noah, the family's recording studio. For Emily, the family's literary estate." Noah felt a surge of anxiety. He turned to Emily, whose face was a mask of serene composure.

He pictured the studio, the complex equipment, the demanding musicians. Emily, with her sharp mind and her passion for literature, would undoubtedly thrive managing the estate. He felt inadequate, lost.

He was a musician. Not a manager. He felt the familiar weight of uncertainty.

He knew he would need her, to help him navigate the complexities of the studio. He knew he would look to her for guidance, as he always did. The thought made his stomach churn.
