Gemotions

The old house was being renovated, and the workmen had unearthed the time capsule in the garden. They called to Lisa, who was still living in the house. She went out to see it: a weathered copper box, heavy in her hands. She had no memory of its burial.

The lid creaked open. Inside, a series of photographs and letters, chronicling a life she barely recognized. A young woman with bright eyes and bold dreams, the exact opposite of who she was now.
