He didn’t possess the tools to fix anything. He didn't even know where the fuse box *was*. He'd always called the landlord, even for the smallest issue. He’d always relied on things being taken care of.

The thought of finding a new place – of navigating applications, paying deposits, dealing with movers – made him want to lie down. He felt a need to be surrounded by people, as if their presence could somehow shield him. He pulled out his phone, scrolling through his contacts. He needed his sister. He needed her to tell him what to do.
