He found himself avoiding familiar places. The coffee shop where he and Mr. Ellis, his acting coach, used to rehearse scenes felt too crowded, too bright. He felt a constant knot in his stomach. The news had arrived via a curt email, "Moving on. Best of luck." It felt like a betrayal. They had worked together for years.
