Rain lashed against the windowpane, mirroring the storm raging inside her. The notification on her phone read, "Your childhood journal is now available online." A wave of nausea washed over her. She knew that diary. She remembered the late nights spent writing about her secret hurts, her teenage loneliness. That private space, now public.

She considered ignoring it, deleting the email, pretending it hadn’t happened. But the morbid curiosity clawed at her. She fumbled for her glasses, her hands shaking as she typed the URL. The words, so familiar, so personal, jumped out from the screen. A wave of shame threatened to overwhelm her.
