Her hands were shaking as she clutched the phone. The news, delivered with casual disregard, landed like a physical blow. Her "Velvet Vanilla Bean Ice Cream," her grandmother's treasured recipe, was now being sold as "Celestial Cream" by a well-known ice cream parlor.

She retreated to her apartment, the walls closing in. The vibrant, bustling city outside seemed impossibly far away. Her appetite was gone. She felt like she was trapped in a thick fog, unable to see or feel anything clearly.

She crawled into bed, pulling the covers over her head, wishing the world would simply disappear.
