The world had gone dim for Ms. Chen. The vibrant colors of life seemed to have faded away, leaving her in a gray haze. She felt like she was trapped in a glass cage, unable to connect with the world around her. She struggled to get out of bed in the mornings, the very thought of the day ahead filling her with dread.

A small, ornate music box arrived in the mail. It played a familiar melody, a song she had often played in class. A card contained a simple message: "Remember the music. - Your former students."
