The gallery was a sterile white box. My studio, normally a sanctuary, felt like a prison. My stomach knotted, my shoulders ached, and my vision swam as I replayed the news that had come on the social media sites earlier. The post, from a tattoo artist showcasing my 'Ephemeral Echoes' design on a client's back. I knew I couldn’t afford to let this slide.

I paced, the polished concrete floor cold beneath my bare feet. My portfolio, usually a source of pride, now felt like a curse. Every brushstroke, every color choice, was a testament to the life I had poured into my art. And someone had stolen it.

I needed to act fast. I had to regain control. But the enormity of the task, the sheer unfairness of it all, threatened to overwhelm me.
