The courtroom felt suffocating. The air was thick with the scent of stale coffee and desperation. I sat on the hard bench, my hands clasped tightly in my lap. The lawyer's words, a drone of legal jargon, seemed to bounce off the walls, barely registering. Across the room, the tattoo artist, a smug-looking man, met my gaze. He wore a bored expression.

The case was about my 'Silent Echo' piece, stolen and copied. The financial damage, the emotional toll… The sheer arrogance of the man across the room.

My heart hammered against my ribs, a frantic rhythm against the backdrop of the sterile room. I knew how difficult it would be to win this case. I knew how much money it would cost. The future seemed bleak. I felt my vision blurring as I heard the beginning of the judge’s statement.
