The silence of the house was oppressive. Emily, recently widowed, felt the walls closing in. The house, her shared history with her late husband, now held only echoes of laughter and shared dreams. She had to stay strong for her children. She needed something to cling to.

She leaned against a wall in the attic, searching for a sign of her life moving forward. A picture fell from the wall, revealing a gap behind it.

She pushed back the panel, and found a small writing desk. Inside, a collection of letters. They were written to her by her husband. As she read them, his voice lived again, a source of solace and a reminder of the life they shared.
