Maya sat in the dimly lit corner of a dive bar, the air thick with the smell of stale beer and regret. She swirled the ice in her glass, the clinking sound a lonely counterpoint to the boisterous laughter echoing from the other tables. The "Spicy Shrimp Taco," the recipe she’d poured her soul into, had catapulted "Taco Time" to fame. She remembered the late nights, the experimentation, the satisfaction of the first perfect bite.

Now, her own taco stand was struggling, scraping by, while the stolen recipe, under a different name, made someone else rich.
