"Just a bit of land, it appears," the solicitor had said, his voice clipped and indifferent. "And a few… artifacts." Finn clutched the deed in his trembling hand. He’d hoped, prayed, for something concrete. His sister, Willow, had inherited the family estate, complete with a trust fund. He, on the other hand, had gotten a small plot in the remote wilderness, and a strange, locked chest. He kicked at a loose stone on the dusty floor. He needed money, and fast. The chest felt like his only chance.
