The weight of the impending deadlines pressed heavily on Mrs. Rodriguez's shoulders. Her savings account was close to zero. She felt the pressure bearing down on her. The project was falling apart. She needed to find an answer, and fast.

A padded envelope arrived in the mail. It had no return address. The contents were wrapped in simple brown paper. She opened it and inside was a series of handmade, intricately folded origami cranes, each delicately crafted.

Attached was a note: "Remember the power of art, Mrs. Rodriguez? It’s still in you. - David." Beneath the cranes was a gift card to her favorite art supply store and a note that said, “Use this. You deserve it.” She sat there for a long moment, the delicate paper cranes a beacon of hope in the gloom.
