A cold sweat slicked down Arthur’s back as he clicked through the photos. His son, Leo, had always seemed so… *ordinary*. Straight As, played the cello, good manners. Now, this alternate personality stared back at him with heavily-lined eyes and a smirking mouth. Arthur felt a sudden pressure behind his eyeballs.

The posts were filled with coded language and sneering criticisms of *everything*. Of *him*. Leo's comments were sarcastic and cruel. Arthur found himself clenching his fists. He felt like he'd been given a view into a cesspool of adolescent idiocy. He hated this, every single facet of this entire situation. The screen felt greasy under his fingers, and he wanted to scrub his hands raw.
