Gemotions

The package sat on her doorstep, a large box overflowing with some kind of… *thing*. When she opened it, an enormous bouquet of mixed flowers tumbled out, their scent an immediate assault. She recoiled, a wave of nausea washing over her.

She backed away slowly, her hand flying to her mouth. The colors were too bright, too vibrant. The scent, a bizarre amalgamation of sweet and musty, made her gag. The sheer *volume* of the arrangement was repulsive.

She closed the door and then leaned back against it, her chest heaving. It was a joke, it *had* to be. She'd deal with this later. Right now, she just needed to breathe fresh air.
