The sterile examination room felt colder than usual. Sarah stared blankly at the doctor, the words echoing in her ears: "We believe your results are… not yours." A jumble of images and sensations swirled within her. The sharp pain in her chest, the worry she had carried for weeks, the fear that something serious was wrong, it all felt… misplaced.

She leaned back against the stiff paper on the examination table, struggling to make sense of the information. The room seemed to expand and contract, the walls shifting in their dimensions. Her gaze fell on the medical instruments laid out on the tray, gleaming with a cold, impersonal light.

"But… but what does that mean?" she stammered, her voice tight with a strange, unfamiliar terror. It was a question aimed at the doctor, at herself, at the very fabric of her existence.
