Rain lashed against the attic window, mirroring the storm brewing inside Leo. He hadn't touched the boxes his father had left behind for months. Now, the weight of the unopened cardboard felt suffocating. He pulled one down, dust motes dancing in the weak sunlight slicing through the gloom. Inside, nestled beneath yellowed photographs, was a leather-bound notebook. He flipped it open, the familiar script of his father’s hand a ghost from the past. The first page read: “Bucket List.” Leo slumped, the air suddenly thick, as he read, “Learn to play the guitar.”
