Gemotions

The artist, Elara, felt a cold wave wash over her. She'd been scrolling through Instagram, idly, when she saw it. Her dreamcatcher design, a piece she'd crafted with care and passion, was now permanently affixed to a stranger's upper arm.

Her fingers trembled as she zoomed in, tracing the lines on her phone screen. The lines of her creation, now somebody else's body art. Everything seemed to fade into a haze. It made her feel ill.

“No…” she breathed, her voice barely audible. Her chest felt constricted. The image kept replaying in her mind, a mocking reminder of the loss of something precious.
