Liam paced his small apartment, the worn wooden floorboards groaning under his weight. Sunlight streamed in through the grimy window, illuminating dust motes dancing in the air, but he couldn't appreciate the light. He'd poured his heart out to "StarryNight91," confided everything, and now… a shared zip code. "Just around the corner," the message had read.

He ran a hand through his already dishevelled hair. His chest felt constricted, as if a weight was pressing down. He hadn’t even taken a shower. The prospect of an unexpected face-to-face meeting with someone who knew his most embarrassing secrets filled him with an awful unease.

He grabbed his keys, then dropped them back onto the counter, his resolve crumbling. He needed air, some space, but the thought of running into "StarryNight91" filled him with dread. He slumped onto the sofa, the silence of his apartment amplifying the frantic thrumming in his ears.
