The coffee mug vibrated in Amelia's trembling hands. The news had broken a mere hour ago: her online persona, "AmeliaWrites," was nothing more than a front. Her private diary, the one filled with angsty poems and embarrassing crushes, was now public. She stared at the screen, the words of strangers mocking her vulnerability.

Her breath hitched, a shallow, rapid pant. The kitchen, usually her sanctuary, felt like a cage. Sunlight streamed through the window, highlighting dust motes dancing in the air, but all she saw was the red notification alert.

"It's not real," she whispered, her voice barely audible. Her stomach churned, a knot of ice forming in her gut. She had to make it stop, she had to erase it all.
