The phone vibrated in Anya’s pocket, a notification alerting her to a new online auction. She tapped the screen, her heart sinking. There, listed for sale, was the delicate porcelain teacup she’d painstakingly crafted. Her signature was missing. Her name, gone.

Her fingers trembled as she scrolled through the listing, each detail of the object a painful reminder of her violation. A wave of dizziness swept over her. She gripped the edge of her desk, her knuckles white.
