I slammed the newspaper down on the table, the noise echoing in the otherwise silent apartment. The headline screamed about a new art exhibit, showcasing the work of a local collector. The collector's name? Mrs. Dubois. The same Mrs. Dubois who lived next door, who always seemed so...thrifty.
