Gemotions

Liam stood on the balcony, the cold night air doing little to soothe the fire burning within him. He'd discovered the manuscript this morning: a thinly veiled portrayal of him and his "compulsive lying." He took a shaky breath, the city lights below seeming to mock his confusion. Each line a stab of betrayal. He felt his face burn, and his vision clouded over with something akin to rage. He wanted to scream, to tear the world apart. He pressed his knuckles into his eyes, trying to make the words disappear.
