He had seen the tattoo on social media. A photo of a woman, smiling, proudly displaying his artwork. The artist, Jasper, felt a sudden, inexplicable anger. He’d never granted permission. He'd never even met the person.

He abruptly stood up from his desk, the chair scraping loudly against the floor. He went to the window, the city lights below blurring into a meaningless expanse. He felt a deep, profound sense of helplessness.
