Her eyes darted around the room, taking in every detail, every carefully planned element. Her own party, and the other one, on the same day. She felt a weight pressing down on her chest, making it hard to breathe.

She found herself biting her lip, a nervous habit she hadn't realized she still had. She glanced at the clock, each passing second amplifying her unease. The anticipation had turned to something akin to terror.

She ran her fingers through her hair, tangling it. The party, which was supposed to be joyful, was now a source of deep anxiety. A sense of impending disaster filled her. She was terrified.
