Gemotions

He sat on the bench, staring at the campus clock tower. The hands seemed to be moving in slow motion. The email's message, informing everyone of the impending closure, seemed like a bad dream. He dug his nails into his palms, the pressure a small comfort. His mouth was dry, and the taste of metal was present in his mouth. He thought about everything. All of his friends, his classes, his future. It was all gone, just like that. He stood up, and started walking away, feeling like he was a ghost.
