Gemotions

The wind whipped across the soccer field, tugging at Leo's hair. He remembered the feeling of the harsh sun, a distinct memory. Across the field, his friend, Marcus, whooped with joy. "Man! That goal! Remember how awesome that was?!"

Leo nodded slowly, his eyes fixed on the distant goalposts. "I recall the goal," he said softly. "I remember the running. The sun. The… waiting for the whistle."

Marcus jogged over, clapping him on the back. "You were the star, dude! The winning goal! You were like, totally psyched!"

Leo's face remained impassive. The details seemed to fade, leaving only the sensation of being… present. He struggled to find the energy to fully participate in the moment.
