Gemotions

The task of cleaning out the basement seemed monumental. I had put it off for weeks, but the time had finally come. The space was filled with forgotten relics, the echoes of a life I barely understood anymore.

I started with a box labeled "Elementary Years, Part 2." Inside were more of my old school assignments: math tests, book reports, and history projects. Each one was carefully preserved, a testament to my mother's dedication.

I came across a science fair project on the solar system. My gaze rested on the detailed illustrations, and a sense of quiet contentment washed over me. The world seemed to slow down, and I remained focused on the artifacts before me.
