“Oh, God,” Michael breathed. His teenage diary, complete with bad poetry and unrequited crushes, was now public domain. He found the site while randomly surfing the internet. He wanted to scream, but the noise wouldn't come.

He sat back in his chair, the world shrinking around him. He felt like he had been locked inside a glass box. He could see everything, but he couldn't touch it.

He sat there for a long time, the screen glowing in the darkness. Finally, he reached over to turn off the light.
