A soft yawn escaped Samuel as he scrolled through social media. He hadn't bothered to get out of his pajamas yet. The trending topic: "Chef Giovanni's Garlic-Infused Olive Oil." Everyone seemed to be raving about it. Samuel, idly, clicked on a video review.

The reviewer gushed about the perfect balance of flavors, the rich aroma, and the overall brilliance of the oil. Samuel vaguely recognized the bottle's design – a simple, green label. He’d made that recipe years ago for his then-girlfriend. He was quite proud of it, at the time.

Samuel felt a gentle, unhurried ease spread through him. He leaned back against his pillows, letting the phone slip from his hand. The oil was good, he had to admit. He hoped Chef Giovanni was enjoying the accolades. Getting up to cook some eggs sounded like too much effort. He closed his eyes.
