He saw the notification on a Sunday morning: "Mr. Johnson started following you." A wave of quiet satisfaction washed over James. His breathing slowed. He looked at Mr. Johnson’s profile, at the photos of his camping trips and his dog. He found it all very calming.

The following Monday, James was the first to offer help with the classroom clean-up. He carefully stacked the chairs, and helped to erase the boards. He asked the teacher if there was anything else he could do. His voice was soft, almost a whisper. He wanted to be helpful, to be a good student.
