Gemotions

The air in the apartment felt thick and heavy. He’d come home to an unexpected silence. He found the pages slipped under his partner’s pillow, titled "The Serene Harbor." His fingers were trembling slightly as he picked them up.

The central figure in the story, a man named Samuel, was calm, never rocking the boat. Always seeking the path of least resistance. He felt a strange tingling in his fingertips as he flipped through the pages.

He went to the window and simply stood there, watching the rain. He watched the rain for a very long time, until his partner returned.
