Sarah slumped onto the uncomfortable plastic chair, her head resting against the cold wall. The fluorescent lights buzzed, adding to the general feeling of ill-ease. She'd been feeling sluggish for weeks. Her energy levels were nonexistent, and even a flight of stairs left her winded. Now, the clinic was calling to say there’d been an error.

The doctor’s face, when she finally saw him, was etched with a peculiar frown. "Ms. Miller, we've reviewed your recent labs. There appears to be a mix-up. Your results match those of Mr. Henderson, a gentleman with… quite different medical history."

She felt a wave of cold rush through her, her hands clammy. Different? It wasn't the word she would use to describe the situation. She wasn’t sure how she could muster the strength to get up and leave the examination room.
