The world seemed to spin slowly for Maria. She’d been exhausted for weeks, finding even the simplest tasks draining. The doctor had ordered tests. Now, the clinic was calling to say there was a problem. She felt a profound weight in her chest.

“Ms. Ramirez?” the doctor's assistant sounded concerned. “There’s an error with your records. The lab results… they seem to belong to someone else entirely. Mr. Henderson."
