"This is it, huh?" Leo said, his voice quiet. He shifted his weight from foot to foot, his hands shoved deep into his pockets. The house felt like a tomb, each room a reminder of the life that had been lived here. His sister, Clara, was bouncing with nervous energy, but he just felt…flat.

He ran a hand over the dusty surface of the grand piano in the living room. The keys seemed to taunt him, silent and lifeless. The silence of the house pressed against him, a physical presence.
