Gemotions

The bus rattled and groaned, mirroring the internal vibration in Finn’s chest. He felt as though he was moving through molasses. Even the thought of reaching his art school, a place usually brimming with inspiration, filled him with weariness.

The doors hissed open, and he stumbled off. Across the quad, a banner hung: "Student Showcase." He dragged his feet towards it, a sense of foreboding settling over him.

And there it was. His digital illustration, blown up to massive proportions. He hadn’t agreed to its use. His anger wasn’t righteous. He just felt…empty.
