The vibrant colors of the drawing seemed to pulse before Clara's eyes. It was Barnaby, of course. The same Barnaby, with the unruly, mismatched features. The one she had spent countless hours with as a child. He was now brought into life by her daughter, Lily. A gasp escaped her lips, her hand flying to her mouth.

She felt a dizzying sensation, as if the world was tilting on its axis. Her gaze darted between the drawing and Lily, searching for answers, but finding only confusion.
