Gemotions

The husky, a magnificent creature of ice and fire, was sprawled across my freshly painted garden bench, panting contentedly. The paint… the bench… He stared. A buzzing sensation filled his ears.

He'd spent the entire weekend meticulously preparing the garden for his wife's birthday party. Now, he felt the world tilting slightly. Everything seemed… absurd.

He tried to formulate a coherent thought, but his mind remained blank. He just blinked, once, twice, and then again. The husky yawned, stretched, and promptly began to shed white fur all over the newly stained wood.
