The antique shop was dimly lit, crammed with forgotten treasures. Emily found a small, leather-bound album tucked away in a dusty corner. Inside, she found a picture that shook her. Her great-aunt, a woman everyone described as deeply unhappy, was captured in a photograph with a beaming smile, hiking in the mountains with a man she didn't recognise. Her face flushed, an unwanted heat spreading through her chest. It was like staring into a mirror that reflected a complete stranger. She felt a need to sit down.
